Empowerment Clubs

The Empowerment Clubs bring together girls and boys in schools and villages to explore leadership, dignity, and community responsibility.

Originally created to support girls, the program quickly expanded to include boys as well. The clubs help young people develop confidence, respect for others, and the courage to challenge harmful practices while honoring the positive aspects of Samburu culture.

Through guided discussions, students explore topics such as leadership, healthy relationships, community service, and cultural values. Rather than telling students what to think, the program encourages open conversation and reflection.

More than 1,000 students now participate in Empowerment Clubs each year, creating a new generation of young leaders who believe in protecting and supporting one another.
